Sara Khan is a 19 year old Indian television model/actress, who shot to fame via her debut role as Sadhna in the hit serial Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai. Born August 5th 1989 in Bhopal India. Her father is a doctor, and mother runs a boutique. She is the eldest of four sisters. She has passed XIIth, and has enrolled in the Mumbai University for graduation.

Sara started her career with modelling. Before coming to Mumbai she has worked on 45 films there and also anchored three programmes on Madhya Pradesh Doordarshan – 'Bollywood Hungama', 'Style Hain Toh Life Hain' and 'Hum Hain Toh Kya Gam Hain'. Although she had not watched any serials prior to landing the role of Sadhna in Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai she has stated, she always knew she wanted to act in a serial; a decision her parents were very supportive of as well. Sara is also the winner of the Miss MP 2007 title. Sara is currently dating Ali Merchant who used to play Bharat in the star plus soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki by Balaji Telefilms. She is very good friends with co-stars Parul Chauhan, Kinshuk Mahajan, and Angad Hasija.
