Zeba Bakhtiar is a beautiful Pakistani actress-director and television artiste. She hails from Baluchistan in Pakistan and is the daughter of Yahya Bakhtiar, former Attorney General of Pakistan. Zeba Bakthiar's first marriage ended in divorce just before the filming of "Henna". Later she married Adnan Sami, the most celebrated singer-composer and actor. The couple had a son named, Azan Sami, but the marriage could not last long and ended in seperation. Zeba Bakhtiar first made her television debut with a Karachi television play, "Anarkali", a legendary sad love story between prince Jehangir aka Salim, son of Emperor Akbar and a slave girl or a court dancer called Anarkali.
This beautiful "Anarkali" girl made her filmi debut with "Henna" produced by the prestigious RK banner in India. The movie was directed by Randhir Kapoor. Her brilliant performance in "Sargam" {1995} won her the prestigious Nigar Award in Pakistan. Zeba Bakthiar also gave an excellent performance in movies like, "Mohabbat Ki Arzoo" and "Stuntman.Beides acting, Zeba Bakthiar also proved her mettle as director in her directorial-debut movie, "Babu" in 2001.
