Quotes

Willa Ford
  • "You know a lot of times you'll find girls in a club are jaded to the other girls in the club. There's a nasty vibe between the chicks in the club. It's like a pretty girl can't look at another pretty girl and say Wow she's pretty."
  • "Women, especially, either have one of two views of Playboy. It's either, 'Ewe, gross. What a skank,' or it's, 'More power to her.' I think as soon as women get off their high horse and realize that our bodies are our weapon...men don't have this...they don't look like this naked. I'm the first to say, 'That chick's hot,' instead of going, 'What is she thinking?'" Everybody who says, 'I'd never do it.' Bull crap. Let's talk about the money they put on the table. Let's talk about the fact that yo
  • "They're hit writers. They're gonna write me a hit whether I wanted it or not you know? I could have put out a single a year ago with the Neptunes and maybe been writing now on top but that was not the path that I chose."
  • "There's a million new people in the studio every day creating new stuff so I really had to be on my toes with this one so I could get it out before somebody else could."

  • "It's a mood record. Like one night you're going to be down in the dumps depressed because you're thinking about your ex-boyfriend and the next moment you're gonna be like screw him you know? And the next one you're saying to yourself "God I'm in love."
  • "If someone had asked me three years ago, I would have said no. I think I just got to a point where I am very comfortable with my body and who I am. One day, I'm going to be 40 years old and I'm not going to look like this anymore. No offense to anybody, but its one thing to be a Playmate and that be your career. To me, it's another thing to be asked as a guest to pose in the magazine on your own terms. It was really flattering to me. I took the opportunity. I don't really care what everybody th

Willa Ford is an American actress, singer and product endorser born on January 22, 1981 in Ruskin, Florida. She started to fulfill her dream of becoming a performer at the age of 8 at the Tampa Bay Children’s Choir. She then moved on the Entertainment Revue, a Tampa-based performing arts troupe when she turned 11. She soon made her break into the music industry after signing up with MCA. She then wrote and recorded the song “Lullaby,” which was later on included in the soundtrack of the animated film Pokemon: The First Movie.

She then joined the Backstreet Boys and became the opening act for their tours, where she met and became romantically involved with Nick Carter. Soon after, Willa Ford moved to Lava Atlantic Records where she released her debut album Willa Was Here. Her first single “I Wanna Be Bad” was a smash hit, and her album sold 200,000 copies. Her following singles, such as “Did Ya’ Understand That,” failed to meet the same success. In 2003, she soon returned with a club hit single, “A Toast to Men.”

Aside from singing, Willa Ford also wrote songs and collaborated with other singers, particularly with Korean singer Park Ji Yoon, with whom she co-wrote and sang a duet on the song “Nastified.” Willa Ford also appeared on television, first as a host for the reality fight show The Ultimate Fighter, followed by joining the reality dance competition Dancing With the Stars.

She was also featured in an episode of My Celebrity Home and MTV Cribs, where she gave a tour of her home. Aside from television, Willa Ford also ventured into the world of film, first in the biopic Anna Nicole, followed by the thriller Impulse, and the classic cult horror flick Friday the 13th. Willa Ford is married to American hockey player Mike Modano.
