A rankholder both at College and University levels in his B.A. exams, Shahrukh Khan dabbled in theatre in his hometown Delhi, before moving on to Television serials like 'Circus' and 'Fauji', which were highly popular.He got his break in Hindi movies with Hema Malini's directorial venture 'Dil Aashna Hai' and then with 'Deewana', released in 1992, Shahrukh Khan achieved stardom. With the films 'Baazigar' and 'Darr', Shahrukh Khan merged the defining line between a hero and an anti-hero, and marked the transformation of a murderer into a popular hero, undefining the motive and morality behind violence.

In Aditya Chopra's 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge', which was a superhit, his performance as the sensitive and loving protagonist won him a credibility as an actor to reckon with. Shahrukh Khan's later films, 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham', established his credentials as the reigning superstar of his generation. Shahrukh Khan, the 'Bollywood Badshah' is a brand today. Mostly when he is signed on films, the directors would know that it would do well. This is the magic of the 'King Khan.' Shahrukh Khan first came into the limelight as a soldier, Abhimanyu in a tele-serial 'Fauji.' This took the Indian television by storm.

No movie that he has acted in could drown him but could bring out and unearth a new dimension in him doing a favor to everyone involved with the movie. Even Sharukh could learn a lot from his films. Shahrukh Khan got the maturity movie after movie and that is the great thing about him that could do the magic for him inspiring the likes of "Kamal Hasan" inviting Sharukh Khan to act in their films.

Shahrukh Khan and Gauri are known as the best couple in the Bollywood because he's got an undying obsession for her and when it comes to his films, he always sticks to his moral values - ie - no kisses on the screen or no poses for the photographs with his lady actresses for the covers of magazines and so on but he's having a very good rapport with all the filmi personalities in the Bollywood and is highly respected for his manners and life-style off the screen.
