• Balasubrahmanyam has also given voice for various artists.
• He entered the Guinness Book of World Records for recording the most number of songs.
• He has sung in more than five different Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam.
• Balasubrahmanyam made his debut in film music as a singer on December 15, 1966 with Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna, a film scored by his mentor Kodandapani.
• Balus first break in Hindi films was Ek Duje Ke Liye. Subsequently, he created history by bagging the National Award for his first song in the first Hindi movie.
• He is also a classical singer and learned classics in his early childhood.
