  • On June 9th, 2009, Rob Thomas released "Give Me The Meltdown" on US Itunes. Similarly, "Someday" was released on June 16th. The final single was released on June 23rd, called "Fire On the Mountain". On 22nd of June, "cradlesong" was made available for streaming only on the we7 website one week ahead of its UK release date.
  • On March 11, 2009, Rob Thomas started his own Twitter account and announced via the social application that "Her Diamonds" would be the lead single from Cradlesong.

rob thomasSinger, Songwriter, Guitarist, and Piano Player, Rob Thomas created history in Billboard Top 200, when he became the first male to debut as #1 with his debut album Something to be in 2005. He is the lead singer for the band Matchbox Twenty, and has won three Grammy awards for writing the song Smooth  on Carlos Santana's hit album Supernatural in 1999.His gifted writing has got him hired by singers like Taylor Hicks and Daughtery [ American Idol Fame] and also stalwarts like Willie Nelson, and Mick Jagger.

His song  Streetcorner Symphony has been used for the television shows Grey's Anatomy, Six degrees and Ugly Betty.  He has won  13 BMI Awards, including both songwriter and song of the year, and he was named  Billboard’s Songwriter of the Year two years in a row and has contributed to the sales of over 75 million records worldwide with various artistes. Rob is actively involved with his own charity, the  Sidewalk Angels Foundation, which  helps to assist the homeless  and those who cannot afford proper medical care; and also abandoned/ abused animals.
