Raja Hasan

Raja Hasan was born in 7 july, 1982. He is an Indian playback singer. He was a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. Raja Hasan Sagar is the son of noted classical, folk and playback singer Rafiq Sagar. Raja Hasan considers his father Rafik Sager and his grand father Allah Rakha Khan as his Guru in singing.

Raja Hasan's family belongs to the royal singers of the Jodhpur state. He has practiced classical singing for almost 18 years. He is a true fan of Amitabh Bachchan and also admires Aamir and Shahrukh Khan. His most memorable moment was at the age of seven when he was blessed by the popular Rajasthani folk singer Sanwarlalji Ranga in a Jagran. During his free time, he plays cricket and listens to music. Raja Hasan used to sing ghazals at a popular resort on the outskirts of Mumbai. He has also sung a ghazal in movie Khosla Ka Ghosla.

Raja Hasan has practiced the classical singing for almost 18 years. His first song at the age of 7 where he left everybody stunned with his amazing performance and the music Pandits had announced the advent of a true genius. The little prodigy of then has turned into a well built handsome Raja at present a true champion of the music world. Truly Raja Hasan a great singer and a star in the making. Speculation is rife about whether Raja Hasan is married or not, well the answer is 'yes.' He fell in love, eloped and married his true love Ayesha and has never looked back. He has lived in Mumbai for the past 8 years struggling as a singer before hitting it bigtime in Saregamapa 2007.

Raja Hasan was chosen to be in Vishal - Shekhar’s Hit Squad Gharana. He was among the top 3 finalists on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. On October 13, 2007 Raja was announced as the first runner-up of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. He recently participated in an indian reality show that was telecasted on Sony. Ustadon ka Ustado where he won with a cash prize of Rs.10lakhs and Rs.1lakh cash voucher. He also sung "Darne Walo Ko" for Royal Film Company's newly dubbed film, The Real Don No. 1 that was released in March 2008. It's dubbed from Telugu film, Don. He is a participant in Star Plus's Music Ka Maha Muqqabla and is on the Team Himesh's Warriors.
