• Her better known TV appearances were in Mr Yogi, Justujoo, Alpviram, Mriganayani and Imtihaan and her most famous doordarshan serial has been aarohan,a youth serial based on navy.
• She is one of the few female Indian actors to have balanced her work on television as well as on the big screen.
• Currently hosts a singing competition Saregamapa on Zee Marathi.
• She also won a Special Jury Award at National Film Awards for Woh Chhokri (1992).
• She was nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' at the Filmfare Awards for her role as a handicapped girl in Andha Yudh (1988).
