  • He was the Director board member of the Sahithya Pravarthaka Saharkarna Sanghom and Member of Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
  • He took a Major task of translating the most accomplished book 'Kayar'(Coir)of Jnanpith winner Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai into English.
  • He was not only a Political leader but also a prolific writer.
