  • President Horst Koehler said he was "dismayed" by her death, writing in a message of condolences to her son that "she enthused countless people."
  • She also appeared in the German television biodrama, The Manns - Novel of a Century, and in Knef, a biography of the late German actress and singer Hildegard Knef, which was released in 2009.
