Kim ZimmerKim Zimmer was born on February in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kim graduated from Forest Hills Central Public Schools and studied at Hope College in Holland and also at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. She is best known for her role as Reva Shayne Lewis on the soap opera "Guiding Light" from 1983 to 1990. She also played Jodie DeWitt Walker on "Santa Barbara" from 1992 to 1993 as well as Nola Dancy Aldrich on "The Doctors."

In 1995 she returned to "Guiding Light," where she has won four Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series. She's had guest appearances on the television shows "Designing Women," "MacGyver," "Babylon 5" and "Models, Inc." Kim is married to actor/director A.C. Weary, and they have three children, two boys and a girl.

Signing on to Guiding Light in 1984 and remaining in the cast for over two decades, Zimmer earned a staggering 11 Emmy nominations (with four wins), and 12 Soap Opera Digest nominations (with two wins) for her enduring performance in the series. During a brief time in the early '90s, the actress took a break from her popular Guiding Light role and appeared as police officer Jodie DeWitt Walker on Santa Barbara.
