  • Since Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge 2005, Himani has been living in Bombay with her father so that she can work on various projects. She has joined private classes to complete her 12th class coursework. She tours extensively with other Bollywood artists around India and to all corners of the world.
  • Prior to achieving major recognition on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Himani has won accolades in dozens of talent contests as well as television shows like 'Aao Ghoomen Nache' and 'Close-Up Antakshari'. She has racks full of awards and trophies in her name.
  • She is extremely attached to her family and close friends, and very protective of her younger brother.
  • She is fearless and has a steely determination that has brought her so far.

himani kapoorHimani Kapoor is an Indian singer. She was born on August 24, 1988 in Faridabad, Haryana. Himani started singing at the age of five. Later, she was trained by well-known Indian playback singer Suresh Wadkar. Richa Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan and Asha Bhosle are her favorite singers. She participated in the singing competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 . She was among the top ten finalists and was declared the third runner-up.

Himani started her career in Bollywood with the Hindi film Chingaari (2006). She has also sung for Hindi films such as Aap Ki Khatir (2006), Dil Diya Hai (2006) and Good Boy, Bad Boy (2007). Himani was one of the contestants of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar,  a singing competition on Star Plus channel and represented the Challengers team. She joined the Champions team on May 24, 2008. She was eliminated on May 30, 2008.
