• He was found to be the father of a 4 year old girl in 1980 but refuses to see her, although he does pay child support. In 1988, the mother of the girl accused him of having the AIDS virus.
• Resides at the former Hollywood mansion of blond bombshell actress Jayne Mansfield, which she and husband Mickey Hargitay extensively remodeled in her favorite color and dubbed "The Pink Palace". The famous heart-shaped swimming pool is still there.
• He spent his wedding night in a tree house and his bachelor night on a mattress in the front room of Sean Barry-Weske's house in South London.
• Took his stage name from the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck.
