Chandrachur Singh

Indian movie actor Chandrachur Singh was born on 11th October 1968. The actor gained short fame in the later part of 1990`s. He did his studies from the St. Stephen`s College, Delhi. The bollywood actor Chandrachur Singh made his debut in the 1996 film `Tere Mere Sapne` which was produced by Amitabh Bachchan`s production company A.B.C.L. He then won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his performance in the critically acclaimed `Maachis` which was a film by Gulzar.

Chandrachur supporting roles in the hit films `Daag: The Fire` in 1999, `Josh` in 2000 and `Kya Kehna` in 2000.

Since 2001 his career declined and he has since quit acting with the delayed release of `Sarhad Paar` in the year 2006 as his most recent film appearance. In recent days it has been in news that the actor is making a comeback into the big world of films with a film titled `Maruti Mera Dost` to be produced by his brother Contiloe Films famed Abhimanyu Singh.

He won Videocon Screen and Filmfare awards for the display of his performance in `Maachis` that boosted up his morale to act and survive in the field.
