Bhavna Pani is a model and actress. She played the lead in Sanjay Gadhvi's Tere Liye and made a guest appearance in Anant Mahadevan's Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. Bhavna is currently awaiting the release of her new film, Fast Forward, directed by Anjum Rizvi.
She was seen in the Malyalam film Vettam, directed by Priyadarshan, the Kannada film Yuvaraja, directed by Puri Jagganath, and the Telugu film Ninu Chudaka Nenu Undalenu, directed by Srinivas.
Bhavna has done over 75 ad campaigns for some major brands including Videocon, Lux, Rasna, Clinic All Clear, Dabur Chavanprash, Pepsi (Hindi and Tamil), Mastercard, Dabur Amla Hair oil, Gilette, Chevorlet Optra, Samsung Mobiles, Nirma, Himalaya Throat Drops, Hero Honda, 7-Up and Chloromint. These ads were with stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Madhavan among others.
Bhavna has been a trained Odissi and Kathak classica dancer from the age of six, under the able guidance of gurus like Late Padmashri Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra, Guru Ravindra Attibudhi and Smt Guru Jhelum Parajpee, and Pt Birju Maharaj. She is currently performing the title role in an international stage musical called Bharati. She has been travelling for the last three years all over Europe (primarily Paris, London, Berlin, Cannes, Brussels, Zurich, Vienna and Prague) to housefull audiences of minimum 5,000 people per performance.
Bhavna has also learnt modern dance at the Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and performed extensively all over the country for six years. She has also trained in jazz and ballet with Jaan Freeman and Yana Tracy from London. Bhavna has won prestigious scholarships from the Ministry of Culture (Delhi) and the Centre of Cultural Resourse Training (CCRT-Delhi), as also the Sringar Mani title at the national classical dance contest organised by Sur Srigar Samsad in 2002.
