    BenBen Schwartz is a writer/actor from NY who currently resides in LA.  He just wrapped the role of Nathan in the movie Peep World with Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson and Michael C Hall. He was a staff writer for the third season of Adult Swim's Robot Chicken as well as a co-writer on Hugh Jackman's opening recession number for the 81st Annual Academy Awards. He has a book out with Harper Collins entitled Grandma's Dead: Breaking Bad News with Baby Animals. The sequel Why is Daddy in a Dress: Asking Awkward Questions with Baby Animals comes out soon.

    He started as a freelance writer, faxing in jokes to Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and the Late Show with David Letterman's monologue. He has a website devoted to the jokes that didn't make it to air as well as other short films he wrote, directed and acted in - RejectedJokes.com.  One of his shorts, Bronx World Travelers: Press Conference was nominated for two Webby Awards in the best writing and best short film of the year categories.He has performed at the UCBT since 2003 and has been a part of five different Harold teams .

    He can be seen along side Adam Pally and Gil Ozeri in their sketch/improv team Hot Sauce, the team which TimeOutNY said "likely has a future in late night." Hot Sauce performed at the 2007 Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in a sketch showcase directed by Bob Odenkirk. Their two long running UCB shows Hot Sauce Sells Out and 4th Floor Walk-Up were TimeOut NY Critic's Picks. As an improv team Hot Sauce won the 2006 Cagematch Championships.
