  • Amitabh Bachchan has blogged that he has been threatened by an unnamed person through sms for visiting a Hindu temple and a Muslim dargah.
  • In his twenties, Amitabh Bachchan gave up a job as freight broker for the shipping firm, Bird and Co., based in Calcutta now known as Kolkata, to pursue a career in acting.
