Adrianne Palicki was born on May 6, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio. She grew up to be an athletic kid, as she played basketball and ran track. She graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo and became a runner-up for homecoming queen in the said school. Adrianne Palicki first discovered her acting prowess while taking parts in school plays in Whitmore High. She moved to Los Angeles after graduation to try professional acting. During her first days in Los Angeles, Palicki worked at Togos as a sandwich maker. She also went to New York to compete in a modeling and talent contest.
Adrianne Palicki first appeared in the pilot episode of the series Mercy Reef on WB, but the pilot wasn't aired due to the subsequent decisions made after the merger of the WB and UPN networks. The merger happened during the filming of the said episode. However, as she continued to seek a career in show business, Palicki was able to land in roles in films such as Rewrite and Getting Rachel Back. She also started appearing on television shows including CSI and North Shore. She also made an appearance in Smallvilles Season 3 finale Covenant, as Kara. Eventually she bagged a role in the series South Beach and in the film, Popstar, opposite Aaron Carter.
Adrianne Palicki played the brief role of Jessica Moore in the pilot episode of the paranormal drama, Supernatural in 2005. In 2006, Adrianne Palicki became a household name when she was cast in the TV adaptation of the movie Friday Night Lights, where she played the sultry vixen Tyra Collette. Friday Night Lights revolves around small Texan town filled with troubled yet adventurous and passionate teenagers who go to Dilon High, where football means more than just a sport but a game of life. However, Collettes character shows utter disdain about the said sport, despite having an on-off relationship with one of the Dilon Panthers star players.
Adrianne Palicki also went into the modeling scene.She appeared and was ranked #79 in the Maxim Hot 100 list of 2007. Adrianne's parents, Jeff and Nancy Palicki, have been very vocal about the support that they are giving their daughter. They were once featured in an article in toledoblade.com, citing the important points parents should do in supporting their children who want to get into show business, for a lot of individuals nowadays want to enter Hollywood, yet only a few succeed. Her parents are friends with Katie Holmes mother, Kathy Holmes.
