Aamna Sharif, who studied at the Indian School Bahrain, has made a place for herself as a television actress.She was going out with her co-star on television Rajeev Khandelwal and is rumoured to be dating her co-star from Aloo Chaat, Aftab Shivdasani.She appeared in popular shows like Kahin To Hoga, Khul Ja Sim Sim, Deal Ya No Deal. Aamna Sharif made her entry into movies with the Robby Grewal directed comedy Aloo Chaat in 2009.
Aamna Sharif was born on 16 July 1982 into a Muslim family and Completed her schooling from St Anne,s High School Pali hill Bandra..From her childhood she always wanted to be an actress but because of disapproval from family members she had to keep the idea away for a long time. She later managed to convince her parents to let her act. She has graduated university and has worked as a salesperson in a boutique, and in a beauty parlor, before getting a modelling contract.
When Aamna Sharif was in her second year of college, she got a lot of modelling offers and endorsed many brands such as; Close-Up Toothpaste, Betel Mobile phones, Emami Cosmetic Cream, Clearasil Skin Cream, Nescafe and many others. Up till now, she has done fifty ads. Along the line, she did a music video sung by Kumar Sanu called "Dil Ka Alam Main Kya Bataun Tujhe" and she also did a music video sung by Falguni Pathak called "Yeh Kisne Jadoo Kiya" and "Chalney Lagin Hain Hawain" sung by Abhijeet and "ly ly so rupiya" sung by (daler mehdi) and "nachana kamal tera" (shael).
